In addition to the six undergraduate majors offered by the Department of Technology, there are five undergraduate minors available to students at the University of Northern Iowa. Below, you will find a breakdown of curriculum and important information regarding each minor.
Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) Minor
This minor is intended to provide knowledge and hands-on skills in Electrical and Electronics Technology. Computer Science, Physics, Technology Education, Technology Management, Manufacturing Technology, Business and many others would be some of the majors that could fit well with the EET minor. The EET minor provides basic theory and hands-on experience in the field of electrical circuits, electrical power and machinery, analog/digital electronics, PLCs and their applications.

Graphic Technologies Minor
A minor in Graphic Technologies reinforces a student's primary field of study.
